Key Objectives

  • Oversee end-to-end supply chain processes to maximize efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers vendors and internal stakeholders.
  • Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain performance.
  • Ensure timely delivery of materials and products to meet organizational goals.
  • Leverage data and analytics to inform strategic decisions and forecast demand accurately.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily supply chain operations including procurement inventory management logistics and distribution.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with departments such as Operations Finance and Sales to align supply chain strategies with business objectives.
  • Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to secure favorable pricing and delivery conditions.
  • Monitor supplier performance and address any issues related to quality delivery or compliance.
  • Lead initiatives to optimize inventory levels reduce waste and improve order fulfillment rates.
  • Develop and maintain supply chain policies procedures and documentation.
  • Utilize supply chain management software and tools to track performance metrics and generate reports.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation within the supply chain.
  • Manage and mentor supply chain team members to foster professional growth and high performance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Logistics Business Administration or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management preferably within the logistics or education sector.
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain processes procurement inventory control and logistics.
  • Proficiency with supply chain management software and ERP systems.
  • Excellent negotiation communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance and quality standards related to supply chain activities.
