Key Responsibilities:
About the Role
The Public & Institution Acquisition Lead is responsible for leading a team to acquire and grow resources from individual donors and institutional partners such as churches and schools. This role also ensures strong stewardship of existing donors through accountable transparent and donor-centered engagement aligned with Wahana Visi Indonesias mission.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy Development & Planning
Resource Acquisition
Coordinate team to manage promotions activities to Churches/Christian Institution channels toacquirenew donors.
Maintain partnerships with individual sponsors and institutional donor (schools and churches)
Coordinate team to develop proposals that meet public donors interest
Coordinateteam toidentifypotentialnew individualand private donors.
Accountability& Quality Assurance
Responsible in achieving monthly Public Engagement targets/goals to eventually contribute to the over-all annual localfund raisingincome.
Ensuredatabase ofdonorscontact is developed andmaintained.
Ensure that staffcomply withall Organization Policies including Code of Conduct Child Protection Conflict of Interest e-Mail & IT Access.
Ensure the prospect donors receive proper information needed to enhance their trust and loyalty and to avoid expectation gap.
Monitor achievement and provide monthlymanagementreport includingprogram delays diversions from agreed upon commitments (Design AOP) and other changes to programming context
Provide services to the existing individual and private donors according to the accountability and donors requirement (when applicable)
Comply toWVIDN accountability transparency and effective communication asevidencedby positive response in donor feedback.
Networking& Coordination
Build relationships with public and private partners(schools churches)andmaintaintheacquisition(existing donors) including organizing face-to-face interactions or events and networking sessions/events and others
Involve institutional donors in WV public events to make them more engaged with WV and increase commitment.
Collaborate with relevant external partners to ensureappropriate managementof acquisition to maximize results
Liaise effectively with concernedunitsand teams to increase effectiveness ofpublic acquisitionprogram implementation including finance/procurementteam to ensurethe availability ofservice or goods needed on time.
Preparethe Due Diligence and Form Go/ No Go process of thePublic Acquisition(Private Partners).
Capacity Building
Plan andmonitorIndividual Development Plan and Coaching for Performance process for each team member based on Annual Performance Agreement (FKK)
Provide assistancein developing capacity building materials inPublic and Institution Acquisition.
Management & Leadership
Take leadership torepresentorganization in managing people within responsible unit with P&C support include provide job orientation fornew staff.
Provide mentoring for team membersincluding Performance Management Coaching forPerformanceand capacity building
Buildpositive work environment where team membersare able todevelop their potentials and grow in Christian maturity.
Provide Christian leadership and support to enrich the organisations life faith Christian commitments and ministry to the disadvantaged children and communities weseekto serve.
Requirement
Minimum 3 years of experience in marketing fundraising partnership development or related fields.
Bachelors degree in Marketing Communications Economics Social Sciences Public Administration or related disciplines.
Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken).
Proven ability to build relationships and work across cultures.
Experience in non-profit or faith-based organizations is an advantage.
Strong analytical interpersonal and donor-centric mindset.
Proficient in MS Office and CRM/database systems.
Willingness to travel domestically.
Availability to attend weekend or evening events when required.
Minimum TOEFL score: 500.
