Job Summary
PARTS DEPARTMENT RUNNER
Description of the role:
The Parts Department Runner at Southern 441 Toyota will be responsible for efficiently and accurately delivering parts and supplies to the appropriate departments within the company. This role plays a vital role in ensuring smooth operations by ensuring that the right parts are available where and when needed.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in picking up and delivering parts and supplies within the dealership
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of parts to the designated departments
- Maintain proper documentation of deliveries and receipts
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the parts storage area
- Assist with inventory management including stocking shelves and conducting regular physical counts
- Coordinate with other departments to fulfill parts requests
Requirements:
- Prior experience in a similar role is preferred
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
