We are seeking friendly and experienced caregivers to provide non-medicalin-home support for our clientsin Danbury Ridgefield and Newtown over 40 years the founders of Preferred Care at Home made a difference in the lives of seniors throughout the country. These positions include Companion Care and/or Personal Care. If you compassionate about supporting our Veterans and aging population please give us a call. Wed love to meet you!
Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care assistance (as needed)
- Excellent communication skills with the office staff client and family members
- Medication reminders
- Assist with light housekeeping related to client
- Support activities of daily living (ADLs: bathing toileting dressing and mobility)
- Transport and/or accompany client to appointments or errands whenneeded
- Meal preparation inaccordance to client preferences or dietary restrictions
Qualifications:
- Prior care giving experience required
- Reliable patient and respectful of clients and their families
- Eligible to work in the United States
- I9 professional references and background checks required
