As a Senior Helpers Caregiver youll use your skills empathy and professionalism to deliver consistent high-quality care that strengthens the lives of our clientsandtheir families.
We are seeking dependable experienced caregivers who can confidently support clients throughout Fort Collins and the surrounding areas.
What Youll Do:
As a Senior Helpers Caregiver you will consistently demonstrate behaviors that promote dignity independence and trust. On a typical day you will:
Build meaningful relationships
- Initiate friendly engaging conversations that make clients feel heard and valued.
- Participate in clients preferred activitiessuch as gardening scrapbooking or playing gamesto encourage social engagement.
Support daily living with professionalism
- Assist clients with walking dressing grooming bathing toileting and other personal care tasks while maintaining their comfort and safety.
- Prepare simple nutritious meals and support safe eating routines.
Promote safety and independence
- Observe clients mobility behavior and physical or cognitive changes and report concerns promptly through our communication app.
- Follow care plans accurately and adjust your approach to meet each clients daily needs.
Maintain accurate documentation
- Use the electronic caregiver mobile app to clock in/out record completed tasks and update client notes in a timely and detailed manner.
Contribute to a positive team environment
- Communicate clearly with families supervisors and team members to ensure continuity of care.
- Respond to schedule updates and care plan changes with professionalism and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
You will be expected to demonstrate these behaviors consistently:
Personal Care
- Provide safe assistance with bathing mobility transfers positioning toileting grooming oral hygiene medication reminders feeding and dressing.
Companionship & Household Support
- Engage clients in conversation and recreation.
- Prepare light meals perform light housekeeping manage laundry assist with shopping and errands and provide incidental transportation.
- Help clients maintain an organized and comfortable home environment.
Client-Centered Flexibility
- Complete additional tasks assigned by the client or care team that support safe successful aging in place.

Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least one year ofprofessionalcaregiving experience.
- 18 years of age or older.
- Legal identification and authorization to work in the U.S.
- Reliable transportation and punctuality for scheduled shifts.
- Ability to use a smartphone for electronic scheduling communication and documentation.
