Reporting to the Sales Manager - Industrial the Sales Engineer is responsible for driving sales growth in assigned territories by developing and executing strategies to achieve annual revenue targets. Identify new business opportunities expand customer base and strengthen Hachs market presence in Sarawak region

In this role a typical day will look like:

Technical Consultation & Solution Selling

  • Provide expert guidance on Hachs water quality instruments and solutions. Deliver product demonstrations training and technical support to ensure customers understand applications benefits and compliance requirements.

Customer Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain long-term partnerships by understanding client needs and offering tailored solutions. Act as a trusted advisor to customers ensuring satisfaction and loyalty through consistent engagement.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with service technical support and marketing teams to deliver complete solutions. Coordinate internally to ensure smooth project execution and after-sales support.

Market Development & Representation

  • Represent Hach at seminars workshops and industry events. Promote solutions enhance brand visibility and identify new opportunities within the water quality and environmental monitoring sectors.

Reporting & Compliance

  • Prepare accurate sales forecasts reports and account plans. Negotiate contracts in line with company policies while ensuring adherence to ethical standards and safety requirements during site visits.
