Position Purpose:
Werelooking for aLead UX Designerto own the end-to-end user experience for our web and mobile eCommerce platforms. This is a critical high-impact role shaping how trade professionals interact with our digital tools;helping them find buy and trackorderseffortlessly whethertheyrein the field or at the office.As a strategic partner across product engineering and marketing you will lead UX for a large-scale web redesign initiative evolve our mobile experience and drive adoption engagement and retention through intuitive pro-grade design.Your work will directlyimpactour users in the B2B eCommerce space helping them navigate complex workflows with ease and efficiency. This is a leadership role requiring both strategic vision and hands-on designexpertise.
Key Responsibilities
Define and drive the overall UX/UI design vision and strategyfor HeritagePlusB2B eCommerceacross web and mobile.
Lead and mentor UX/UI designers fostering creativity collaboration and professional growth.
Championuser-centereddesign principlestoensure that we have Industry leading digital experiences.
Translate businessobjectivesand advocate for theuserneeds by creating design solutions that align with both the usersexperience and company goals.
Leaduser researchefforts usability testing andheuristicanalysis to inform design decisions.
Develop user personas journey maps wireframes and prototypes to conceptualize and test ideas.
Define andmaintaindesign systems style guides andcomponentlibraries to ensure design consistency.
Ensure responsive accessible mobile-first design is baked into every deliverable.
Partner withproductleadersto align design goals with product roadmaps and priorities.
Negotiate across departments and with leadership to make compelling cases based on data best practices or future facing implications.
Work closely with development teams to understand technical constraints and ensure feasibility.
Present design concepts and decisions to stakeholders incorporating feedback as needed.
Partner with Marketing to ensure consistency of branding and messaging alignment.
Analyze user behavior and feedback toidentifyopportunities for design optimization.
Stay current with industry trends tools and best practices to keep our designs innovative and competitive.
Implement processes to measure the impact of design on key performance metrics.
Identifyandimplement process improvements that help the team deliver high-quality work faster.

Minimum Qualifications:
5-7years of experience in UX/UI designor product designwith at least 2 years in a leadership role.
Demonstrated experiencedesigningforcomplex digital productspreferably eCommerce or transactional workflows.
Experience working in Agile environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Strategic Design Leadership: Ability to translate business goals and user insights into actionable design strategies; experience shaping product direction and roadmaps.
User Research & Discovery: Proficient in planning and synthesizing user research and usability testing into effective design solutions.
Design Execution:Expertiseleading design from discovery through delivery including wireframes prototypes and final UI for web and mobile platforms.
Technical Design Skills:Proficiencyin design and prototyping tools (e.g. Figma Sketch) with a strong understanding of design systems accessibility standards (WCAG) and responsive design principles.
Collaboration & Communication: Strong communicator withdemonstratedEQ able to influence stakeholders mentor designers and drive cross-functional initiatives.
Problem Solving Mindset: Proactive growth-oriented approach with a focus on experimentation learning and continuous improvement.
Preferred Qualification:
710 years of UI/UX or product design experience including work on largescale ecommerce or complex B2B platforms.
Experience leading multidisciplinary design efforts across product lines or customer journeys.
Background indesigning forprofessional users contractors or other specialized B2B audiences.
Prior experience working with or contributing to a robust design system.
Preferred Skills & Capabilities
Strong ability to use data research and experimentation to guide design decisions.
Familiarity with analytics tools to interpret user behavior andoptimizedesigns.
Ability to balance user needs with business goals and technical constraints.
Knowledge of front-end development technologies (e.g. HTML CSS JavaScript ReactNative) to bridge the gap between design and development.
Experience redesigning the end-to-end user experience journey and web & mobile app platforms using data-informed methods.
Minimum Education:Bachelors degree in designhuman-computerinteractionor equivalent experience
Preferred Education:Masters degree in HumanComputer Interaction (HCI) Interaction Design User Experience Design Information Architecture Cognitive Psychology ora relatedfield.
