Details of the Division and Team:
Deutsche Banks (DB) PCS primarily focuses on theorigination of clearing services to DB clients. This involves offering clients the ability to centrally clear their derivatives transactions OTC and LD) which provides significant benefits in terms of risk management operational efficiency collateral management and regulatory compliance.
This role is based in Sydney but will have a proactive interaction with the global Platforms business while also partnering with and driving collaborative business across the FIC
(Fixed Income & Currencies) wider franchise. This is a client-centric role which drives the provision of platform solutions to DBs institutional clients advising clients on best-fit or bespoke products platform delivery and origination of clearing mandates.

Your key responsibilities:
The primary function is to identify onboard and maintain relationships with institutional clients who require clearing services.
This includes engaging with asset managers hedge funds pension funds sovereign wealth funds banks and other financial institutions.
Selling and tailoring clearing solutions for a wide range of listed derivatives (futures options) and OTC derivatives (interest rate swaps credit default swaps foreign exchange forwards non-deliverable forwards etc.).
Staying abreast of market trends regulatory changes (e.g. Dodd-Frank EMIR MiFID II) and competitor offerings to effectively position Deutsche Banks clearing platform
Work closely with Listed Derivatives Execution Solutions team in cross selling clearing services.
Drive Sales of clearing via highlighting value proposition; Risk Mitigation Capital efficiency Operational efficiency collateral optimisation etc.
Your skills and experience:
The candidate needs to have a minimum of 5 years experience working on a similar platform sales and/or client services role ideally in Listed Derivatives (Futures and Options) or similar product set.
Knowledgeable of LD and OTC clearing and back office operations.
Existing client relationships with Institutional clients
A proven track record of delivering clearing mandates
Experience in compiling detailed RFPs on behalf of client requests
The candidate needs to be a team player who can work well across various teams in their region along with the LD teams across various locations around the globe.
