Rehab Intake Coordinator

Manulifes Disability and Life Team is looking for a Rehabilitation Intake Coordinator. As a Rehabilitation Intake Coordinator will have the privilege of supporting the national rehabilitation team by ensuring that appropriate referrals are accepted and assigned to the appropriate resource.

Position Responsibilities:

• The review assessment and assignment of appropriate resources of all new referrals to the National Rehabilitation Department.

• Prescreen all new LTD claims for specific plan sponsors using pre-determined criteria and assign to the appropriate resource.

• Track monitor and record associated data.

• Varied administrative tasks to support the national rehab team

Required Qualifications:

• Ability to prioritize work effectively under deadlines.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment

• Ability to multi-task

• Flexible and adaptable to rapidly changing priorities and the ability to handle confidential information

• Strong service orientation and sound judgment

• Strong interpersonal and team approach.

• Good communication skills both verbal and written

• Strong experience with various system applications - claims processing data entry word excel.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bilingualism (English and French) is an asset. If the successful candidate is in Québec proficiency in both languages will be required to support clients from various provinces outside of Quebec.

• College or University degree in health sciencesis an asset.

• Work experience in Group Disability a strong asset.
