The Senior Director Global Sales CALA is a core member of the Global Sales leadership team providing strategic direction and management oversight for the Global Sales Organization across the region. Reporting to the Senior Vice President Global Sales with a dotted line to the Chief Commercial Officer CALA this role leads the development and execution of sales strategies that grow profitable market share and drive topline revenue across all demand segments including business travel leisure group extended stay and luxury. Partnering closely with the VP GSO Luxury and the Senior Director B2B Event Strategy & Experiences the role ensures strong regional alignment on strategy and execution. Key responsibilities include building and leading a worldclass sales organization; setting and communicating clear priorities aligned with Global Sales and company objectives; deploying resources effectively across brands and hotels; developing compelling segment value propositions; delivering room night and revenue targets; and collaborating with regional market and property teams to ensure sustained pullthrough of segment strategies for both new and existing accounts. Location- This role will be based in CALA. |

Education and Experience Required - 4-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration Hospitality Management or related major.
- 12+ years of relevant professional experience in related function.
- Previous experience in events management.
Preferred - Experience directly managing complex budgets
- Proficiency in both written and spoken English
- Total account management experience plus a proven track record of leading sales teams.
- 5+ years experience with Marriotts systems platforms

- Educates stakeholders on segment customers and value propositions.
- Influences negotiates and sells ideas effectively without direct authority.
- Develops visible timely and effective stakeholder communications.
- Holds teams accountable for topline growth profitability and market share.
- Develops and executes segment plans to improve efficiency revenue and ROIC.
- Manages account portfolios segmentation coverage and deployment models.
- Provides subjectmatter expertise on customer needs and competitive trends.
- Manages budgets wage and benefit costs and financial performance.
- Monitors reports and financials to assess results against plan.
- Delivers bestinclass customercentric solutions and incorporates feedback.
