Non-CDL Box Truck Driver Koopman Lumber Company Location: Pembroke Employment Type: Full-Time Pay: Based on experience and required licenses. About the Role Koopman Lumber is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Non-CDL Box Truck Driver to support deliveries of specialty building materials including doors windows kitchen cabinetry interior stair parts millwork and molding products. This is a fast-paced role that requires attention to detail strong customer service skills and the ability to handle high-value finished materials with care and professionalism. You will represent Koopman Lumber on every job site and at every delivery. Best-in-class customer service is the number one objective. What Youll Do - Operate a non-CDL box truck to deliver building materials safely and on time
- Load secure and unload doors windows cabinetry stair parts and millwork products
- Verify delivery paperwork and ensure accuracy before leaving the yard
- Inspect materials for damage and report issues immediately
- Communicate professionally with customers contractors and internal teams
- Maintain a clean and organized truck
- Follow all DOT and company safety procedures
- Assist in the yard or warehouse when not making deliveries
What You Bring - Valid drivers license with clean driving record
- Experience operating a box truck or similar delivery vehicle
- Ability to handle finished products carefully and professionally
- Strong attention to detail and paperwork accuracy
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Dependable punctual and team-oriented mindset
Preferred Qualifications - Experience delivering building materials or finished millwork
- Knowledge of doors windows cabinetry and interior trim products
- Forklift experience
- Physical Demands
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
- Frequent lifting carrying bending and climbing in and out of truck
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Handling large bulky and finished materials with care
