Job Title: Manufacturing Maintenance Technician
Client: Medical Device Manufacturing Company
Location: Grand Rapids MI 49504
Duration: 1 Year
Shift: 2^nd and 3^rd Shift

Job Summary

Hands-on maintenance role focused on preventive maintenance troubleshooting and repair of production and facility equipment in a regulated medical device environment ensuring minimal downtime and compliance with quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment
Troubleshoot electrical mechanical and pneumatic systems
Respond to line issues and ensure minimal downtime
Identify root causes and implement corrective actions
Maintain compliance with GMP SOP FDA and ISO standards
Document maintenance activities and testing results
Collaborate with engineering production teams and vendors
Support safety improvements and maintain 5S standards
Set up repair and optimize equipment performance

Electrical troubleshooting (circuits controls) 3 years

Use of tools (multimeter hand tools) 3 years

Medical device / regulated industry experience 1 years

Education / Experience

High School Diploma or GED
Technical certification in Electrical / Maintenance preferred
Maintenance certification is a plus
3 5 years of hands-on maintenance experience

Physical Requirements

Ability to work in confined spaces and elevated areas
Frequent lifting up to 50 lbs (occasionally 75 lbs)
Extended standing bending and movement
Must wear PPE (gowning eye protection etc.)
