ELEMENTARY CLASSROOM TEACHER

2026-2027 School Year

Assignments TBD Location - McCleary Elementary

TheCraig County School Board in Virginia is now accepting applications for an elementary teaching position that isavailable within our division for the 2026 - 2027 school year.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

To develop and implement an instructional program that will effectively provide the best possible education for each student

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Hold or be eligible for a Virginia Teachers License with the appropriate endorsement to teach at the elementary school level
Have experience in lesson planning and curriculum development
Have experience and expertise in using technology in education
Have experience or working familiarity with Google Drive for instruction collaboration and course work
Have effective written verbal presentation and interpersonal skills
Demonstrate the ability to work effectively with parents and families
Demonstrate the ability to be dependable and punctual
Demonstrate the ability to work and collaborate with a team of other teachers

Salary:2026-2027 Teacher Salary Scales

FLSA: Exempt
