Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced CVOR Surgical Technologist (CST) to support cardiovascular surgical procedures in a fast-paced operating room environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical skills maintain sterile technique and collaborate effectively with surgeons and the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain sterile surgical environments for cardiovascular procedures.
Assist surgeons during cardiovascular operating room (CVOR) procedures.
Handle surgical instruments equipment and supplies during operations.
Ensure proper sterilization and organization of surgical tools.
Anticipate surgeon and procedural needs during surgery.
Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to facility safety protocols.
Support the surgical team in maintaining efficient workflow and patient safety.
Float to other surgical units within competency if required.

Required Qualifications

Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification required through NBSTSA.
AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
Minimum 1 year of CVOR or surgical technologist experience.
