Position: CVOR Surgical Technologist (CST)

Location - Greenville SC

Department: Surgical Services CVOR
Shift: Day Shift 4x10 Hours (06:00 16:30)
Duration: 13 Weeks

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced CVOR Surgical Technologist (CST) to support cardiovascular surgical procedures in a fast-paced operating room environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical skills maintain sterile technique and collaborate effectively with surgeons and the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain sterile surgical environments for cardiovascular procedures.

  • Assist surgeons during cardiovascular operating room (CVOR) procedures.

  • Handle surgical instruments equipment and supplies during operations.

  • Ensure proper sterilization and organization of surgical tools.

  • Anticipate surgeon and procedural needs during surgery.

  • Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to facility safety protocols.

  • Support the surgical team in maintaining efficient workflow and patient safety.

  • Float to other surgical units within competency if required.

Required Qualifications

  • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification required through NBSTSA.

  • AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.

  • Minimum 1 year of CVOR or surgical technologist experience.
