The mission
You will work as anengineeronourTransaction Services(TS)Analyticssquadwithin the INGWholesale Banking Advanced AnalyticsGlobalTribe.The projectempowers ourstakeholdersin Wholesale BankTS business unit to translate scattered datainto easy-to-use actionable insights with the aim to improve business performancesand make better decisions. You will be part of the squad consisting of the data analysts engineers and project manager.
Your day to day
Your passion is to work with the latest and greatest technologies in the field of Data Engineering.As an engineer you will be responsible todesign and build the data pipelinesto process thetransactionsdatacollaboratewiththedata analysts datascientistsandUX designers to create the best user experienceand insightsfor our stakeholders.The product is new in ING and it is one of the most strategic topics at this stage in ING. Data accuracy is key to sustain our credibility.Your responsabilities will include:
Developing and maintaining data pipelines.
Supporting ongoing strategic initiatives to move data transformations to DBT.
Development of new features like user alerting.
Collaborating with analysts scientists product manager and other engineers.
What youll bring to the team
Must have:
Hands-on experience building complex datapipelines
Knowledge of data manipulation and transformation
Experience withDBTApache AirflowApacheSpark
Proficient in Python and SQL
Knowledge of software engineering best practices
Deployment and provisioning automation tools (e.g.Docker Kubernetes CI/CD)
Nice to have:
Hands-on experience managing and further developing distributed systems and clusters for both batch as well as streaming data (S3and/or Kafka/Flink)
Experience in setting upandoptimizingboth SQL as well asnoSQLdatabases
Experience with monitoring and observability (ELK stack)
Experience working in cloud environment (e.g.Azure DevOpsGCPBigQuery)
System design and architecture
Knowledge ofMLOpsarchitecture and practices
Agileway of working
Experience in stakeholders management
Comfortable working in the international environment
