Associate Basis Engineer

Key responsibilities

• Handle SAP Basis related Tickets and resolve them as per the SLA.
• Perform daily monitoring and maintenance of SAP systems (ECC S/4HANA Solman GRC Fiori etc.)
• Support system installations migrations and upgrades (including EHP and kernel updates)
• Manage transport requests and follow SAP Change Management processes
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues using various Tools
• Support backup and recovery procedures including database and OS-level coordination
• Collaborate with functional and technical teams to resolve BASIS-related issues
• Document technical procedures and contribute to knowledge base
• Ensure Compliance and Security in SAP Landscapes.
• Automate Standard Tasks
• Lead small sized SAP technical Projects

What were looking for

• 6-8 years of SAP BASIS experience in production support environment
• Strong understanding of SAP architecture and components (NetWeaver HANA etc.)
• Experience with SAP system copies client administration Printer Management RFC Interfaces and transport management
• Should possess hands on experience in handling Level2 & level 3 SAP Basis Tickets with minimal support
• Should possess basic ITIL framework knowledge
• Perform after hour maintenance and emergency on call work as needed
• Familiarity with OS (Linux/Windows) and DB (HANA/Max DB/Sybase ASE) environments
• Exposure to Azure Cloud platforms and SAP Cloud Connector is a plus
• Good Problem-Solving skills communication and documentation skills
• Systematic and structured work behaviour Self Motivated and Driven
• Bachelors degree in computer science IT or any relevant degree
• Certifications in SAP HANA S/4HANA NetWeaver administration are added advantage
• Work from office is mandatory for at least three days a week.
