English followsUn cours bilingue dinitiation où les étudiants apprennent à dessiner basé sur leurs observations à laide de modèles vivants et autres sujets. En utilisant les médias traditionnels tels que carnet de croquis feutres et fusain et/ou tablettes et des applications de dessin électroniques les étudiants pratiqueront la coordination oeil-main tout en apprenant les notions de base sur les proportions la composition lillusion de la profondeur et lespace lanatomie humaine la lumière et lombre et de diverses techniques de dessin. Il sagit dun cours hybride et aura une composante en ligne. Compétences passives en anglais sont essentielles puisque le cours se déroulera dans les deux langues officielles.

A bilingual introductory class where students learn to draw from observation using live models and other subjects. Using traditional media such as sketchpads markers and charcoal and/or tablets and electronic drawing applications students will practice eye-hand coordination while learning basics about proportions composition the illusion of depth and space human anatomy light and shadow and various drawing techniques.
Passive competence in French are essential as the class is bilingual.

These rates will be applied until a new collective agreement is ratified. Retro will be paid after the ratification.

Maîtrise en arts visuels ou léquivalent. Pratique reconnue et dossier dexposition en peinture en dessin et en art contemporain. Expérience en enseignement post-secondaire. Une connaissance active de la plate-forme en ligne BrightSpace de lUniversité dOttawa est requise. Expérience en dessin numérique serait un atout.
Established reputation and exhibition record in painting drawing and in contemporary art. Teaching experience at post-secondary level. A working understanding of the University of Ottawas online classroom BrightSpace is required. Experience in digital drawing would be an asset.
