As a Security Officer - Mix Shift Evening and Overnight in San Juan Capistrano CA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas complete routine rounds and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will respond to alarms and/or unusual activity document observations and support staff and visitors with clear communication and customer service. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff patients and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
• Respond to alarms disturbances and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner and notify site leadership and/or emergency services as directed by post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior with working conditions that may vary by location.
• Control access by monitoring entrances verifying identification and/or authorization directing visitors and assisting with vehicle and pedestrian traffic flow as assigned.
• Document and report incidents observations and patrol activity using written logs and/or electronic reporting systems and communicate relevant updates to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state county or city issued security license is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
