CAMPUS SAFETY AND FACILITIES MANAGEMENT SECTION
Senior Officer / Officer (Facilities / Housing Management) ()
The appointee will be responsible to provide quality facilities management services for the campus buildings staff quarters and off-campus premises of the University.
Responsibilities:
- Perform day-to-day building management operations and supervise outsourced services providers;
- Manage the senior staff quarters of the University;
- Handle and give advice on tenancy matters of on-campus and off-campus premises;
- Manage and follow up all issues in relation to government leases of the University premises;
- Monitor the performance of facilities management services in the University premises;
- Review operation guidelines and procedures to enhance good practice; and
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- A recognised degree in Surveying/ Real Estates/ Facilities Management or related disciplines; with a minimum of four years relevant work experience;
- Members of a professional institution will be an advantage;
- Good at multi-tasking be creative in problem-solving and self-motivated with the ability to work independently to meet tight schedules; and
- Good interpersonal and communication skills in both written and spoken English and Chinese.
Shortlisted candidates are required to sit for a written test.
The initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract of two years. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to performance review mutual agreement and availability of funding.
Applicants with less relevant work experience may be considered for the post of Officer.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
