About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and dependable Certified/Registered Medical Assistant to join our fastpaced highvolume primary care clinic. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a busy environment enjoys working with a large provider team and is committed to delivering exceptional patient care.

How will you make an impact & Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete patient intakes including vital signs medical histories and medication/allergy reviews.

  • Assist providers with exams minor procedures wound care and diagnostic testing.

  • Perform EKGs immunizations and specimen collection per protocol.

  • Prepare and process lab samples and pointofcare tests accurately.

  • Maintain infection control safety standards and equipment calibration.

  • Support patient triage care coordination and transitions of care.

  • Provide patient education on medications treatment plans and preventive care.

  • Document all clinical information accurately in the EHR.

  • Schedule appointments referrals authorizations and track test results.

  • Verify insurance and assist with prior authorizations billing and coding tasks.

  • Maintain inventory and prepare exam rooms with necessary supplies.

  • Participate in quality improvement activities and safety drills.

  • Communicate effectively with patients providers and care teams.

  • Uphold HIPAA OSHA and all compliance standards.

  • Deliver excellent customer service and compassionate culturally competent care.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • 3 years of Medical Assistant experience required.

  • Experience in Urgent Care or Family Medicine preferred.

  • Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.

  • Active CMA RMA or CCMA certification (required).

  • BLS certification (required).

  • Proficient with EHR systems. (Athena Preferred)

  • Skilled in vital signs EKGs specimen collection and assisting with procedures.

  • Strong knowledge of infection control and sterile technique.

  • Excellent communication customer service and teamwork skills.

  • Ability to multitask and work independently in a fastpaced environment.

  • Professionalism accountability and commitment to highquality patient care.
