As a Locum Cardiology physician you will play a vital role in diagnosing and treating patients with cardiovascular conditions. You will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standards of care while contributing to the efficiency and effectiveness of our practice
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough examinations and assessments of patients with cardiovascular issues
Develop and implement treatment plans based on clinical findings
Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results
Collaborate with other healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes
Educate patients and their families about cardiovascular health and preventive measures
Maintain accurate and detailed medical records
Participate in case discussions and contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings
Stay updated with the latest advancements in cardiology
Requirements
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
Board certification or eligibility in Cardiology
Current state medical license
Strong clinical skills and a patient-centered approach
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Previous experience in a clinical setting is preferred
Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR) systems is a plus
Level III Trauma
Schedule: 24-hour call 7a-7a
Duties: General cardiology and STEMI call
Support Staff: APPs on weekday mornings
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified
Paid travel & expenses
