The NPDE (New Product Development Engineering) team at Texas Instruments focuses on accelerated product design lifecycle management and engineering-to-production solutions. As a part of this strategy for growth we are investing in resources for AI/ML based accelerations for Product Development enabling us introduce new product designs with highest quality and efficiency.
Our charter is to build AI/ML based acceleration platforms that will enable the silicon design teams to accelerate the development of silicon designs verification of the design layout/physical design and accelerate building the test solutions for these designs with higher and better-quality gates. Our goal is to maximize product throughput by synergizing tools technology data analytics EDA and IT infrastructure.
We are seeking a highly motivated NPDE AI/ML Leader to drive this effort. What will you be doing in this role(Responsibilities)
As an NPDE AI/ML leader you will be defining developing and deploying strategic AI solutions by closely working with the domain experts to accelerate new product development.
- Develop deep awareness of Silicon development processes EDA tools and translate complex problems into roadmaps of elegant touch free solutions for a design/verification/layout/validation/test engineer.
- Set the strategic and technical design of AI architectures and come up with actionable plans for SW experts and EDA engineers aligning with futuristic goals/ trends in semiconductor development.
- Lead a team of software specialists to define and operationalize forward looking software solutions to centralize operations management for all facets of silicon development i.e. in design verification layout validation and test.
- Embrace AI-driven software technologies data science & machine learning techniques to transform current flows and development procedures enable operational efficiency and cost leadership. Leverage statistical approaches trend and pattern analysis linear mixed models for random & fixed effects nonlinear/combinatorial optimization in finite search space network models and machine learning for predictions of design behaviour.
- Closely collaborate with design/verification/layout/validation/test technologists and engineers in the company and industry to influence architectures and optimize/customize accelerated development EDA solutions. Responsibilities also involve evaluation of technology approaches to solve real-world problems and participate in standards councils.
- The candidate will manage accelerated development deliverables with a strong quality and productivity mindset and the solutions should enable development of highly customized semiconductor products aligning with large fluctuations in customer demand at speed and scale
QualificationsMinimum Requirements:
- Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science or Electronics Electrical Engineering or related field of study
- 8 Years of Relevant Experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Good understanding of the semiconductor development process
- 8 years of experience as engineering expert with progressive experience in developing and deploying AI/ML solutions preferably in EDA space
- Experience in few of the following areas: algorithms and data structures parsing numerical optimization data mining parallel and distributed computing high-performance computing and neural deep learning methods
- Advanced proficiency in system design and architecture generative AI machine learning to deliver high-performance software and optimizing of algorithms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills combined with a passion for research and technology and the ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in across geographical areas in the world.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced collaborative environment.
- Team-work is imperative in this role
