- Trainer – Learning & Development (L&D)
- Location: Ahmedabad (HO)
- Travel: Extensive travel across plants & sales locations
- Reporting to: DGM – HR & Administration
- Functional Collaboration: Sales Head Plant Heads Functional Lead
- Qualification: Post Graduate in HR / MSW / MBA–HR (preferred) with relevant L&D exposure
- Experience: Minimum 6 years of experience in Training / Learning & Development preferably in Sales Training / FMCG.
Role Summary
The Trainer – Learning & Development will be responsible for planning designing and executing end-to-end training initiatives across Sales Manufacturing Plants and Corporate functions. This includes Induction and Onboarding Training Product Training Sales Force Capability Building and Plant Soft Skill & Behavioral Training. The role will ensure implementation of a structured annual training calendar and achievement of mandated training man-hours (minimum 25 hours per employee per year) while closely partnering with the Sales Head Plant Heads and HR leadership to align learning interventions with business performance and organizational objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Induction Sales & Product Training
- Plan and conduct end-to-end Induction and Onboarding Training covering Head Office Plant and Sales functions.
- Deliver Product Training during Induction for new joiners in Sales and other relevant functions.
- Design and deliver Sales Force Training including selling skills market execution distributor management and target-oriented programs.
- Work closely with the Sales Head to identify capability gaps and design training interventions aligned with target achievement and productivity.
- Conduct Sales Push and Motivation Training during key business cycles.
Plant & Soft Skills Training
- Deliver Soft Skill & Behavioral Training for plant employees (communication teamwork leadership safety culture discipline etc.).
- Coordinate with Plant Heads to assess training needs and implement skill development programs.
- Support plant capability building initiatives through structured learning interventions.
- Learning Design & Training Governance
- Design and implement an Organization-wide Training Calendar in alignment with business priorities.
- Ensure a minimum of 25 training man-hours per employee per year across the organization.
- Develop training content modules presentations and learning tools relevant to FMCG operations.
- Track training effectiveness and share periodic MIS and impact reports with HR and Management.
Coordination & Skill Development
- Coordinate with external trainers institutes and agencies for Skill Development Programs.
- Ensure smooth execution of training programs across locations. Work closely with HR Sales and Operations teams for seamless rollout of learning initiatives.
Travel & Deployment
- Frequent inter-state travel for sales and plant training. Regular plant visits for on-ground training and skill assessments. Base location will be Head Office – Ahmedabad.
Qualification & Experience
- Minimum 6 years of experience in Training / Learning & Development preferably in FMCG.
- Strong exposure to Sales Force Training and Behavioral Training. Experience in training both white-collar and shop-floor employees. Graduate/Postgraduate in HR Training or related field (certifications in L&D will be an added advantage).

- Strong facilitation and presentation skills Business-oriented mindset with sales exposure Excellent communication and stakeholder management Ability to work independently and drive programs end-to-end Hands-on practical and field-oriented approach
Preferred Candidate Profile
