As the design authority for SAP BTP you will set the blueprint for how we build integrate and secure solutions across a sophisticated hybrid ecosystem. Your leadership will enable clean core principles scalable extensibility and resilient integrations that power critical business processes end to end.

Can you transform sophisticated requirements into secure scalable solutions used across continents In this role you will guide teams to adopt guidelines and shared standards accelerate delivery with reusable assets and shape a roadmap that improves business value from BTP across data applications and automation.

Accountabilities:

Architecture & Design:

• Create target transition and solution architectures aligned with Business and AstraZeneca enterprise standards bringing to bear the full potential of SAP BTP.

• Lead the adoption and governance of SAP BTP Guidance Framework and decision guideline for BTP solutions.

• Ability to interpret complex requirements and develop a solution blueprint crafting scalable robust and balanced end-to-end solutions.

• Discover standardize and accelerate development projects using SAP Business Accelerator Hub.

SAP BTP Platform & Services:

• Deep expertise across SAP BTP core services and plan global SAP BTP landscapes estimating costs capacity security and user allocations across projects services and regions.

• Guide application development teams on BTP protocols SAP fundamental compose principles and extensibility guidelines.

• Optimize and manage integration strategies across hybrid landscapes: SAP S/4HANA SAP ECC and third-party systems.

• Manage Application Lifecycle management and runtimes such as Cloud Foundry / Kyma / ABAP Environment Connectivity Security and Integration Suite.

• Build secure high-performance applications with a focus on scalability resilience and reliability.

SAP BTP AI/GenAI Authority:

• Designs and deploys AI-powered solutions on SAP BTP demonstrating services like AI Core AI Launchpad and integrates Generative AI capabilities into Application Development Automation and Integration.

Security & Compliance:

• Design secure BTP landscapes aligned with enterprise and regulatory standards.

• Implement role-based access authentication authorization and data privacy controls.

• Collaborate with security teams on audits and compliance (especially relevant for BFS).

• Knowledge on Identity and Access Management on BTP.

Leadership & Governance:

• Act as technical lead and primary decision-maker for build aspects of BTP initiatives.

• Review solution designs code and architecture work.

• Mentor architects and senior developers to uplift standards and practices.

• Engage with SAP system integrators and vendors for roadmap alignment.

Essential Skills/Experience:

• Experience 12-14 yrs in SAP ABAP CPI with a minimum of 4 years dedicated to SAP BTP

• At least 5 full life cycle project implementation experience

• Experience of building high performing project teams

• Superb Communication and Presentation skills

• Guide the team in demonstrating BTP for development and AI solutions deployment.

• Provide BTP as the platform for integrating multiple SAP SaaS and Data solutions

• Experience in BTP services and knowledge of the capabilities of the platform.

• Proficiency working with SAP BAS SAP CAP RAP SAP Fiori/UI5 and cloud-native technologies.

• Experience with SAP Build apps SAP Build Process Automation and SAP Build Work zone.

• Configure custom metrics thresholds tomonitorapplications and databases and alerts for services and applications.

• Knowledge of Side-by-Side extensibility concepts with hands on experience building extensions to SAPLoBsolutions using low code/no code tools SAP Build code ABAP environment.

• SAP BTP Integration Suite and Event Mesh (basic to intermediate)

• Experience with SAP Core AI and SAP AI Launchpad and other SAP Business AI services.

• Hands on development experience with Java JavaScript/Ui5 or ABAP.

• Willingness to present showcases internally and externally.

Desirable Skills/Experience:

• Participated in solution architecting and presentations

• Ability to work in multi-cultural international environment

• Requirement is to Build BTP practice provide innovative solutions for delivery

• Hands-on development experience in Python isa mustemployingtools likeLangchainandLangGraphwould be added advantage.

• High motivation to explore S/4HANA innovations to build up demo andshowcasesand to drive further development independently.

• Diligent working style in testing and documentation.

• SAP certification is helpful Must have superb communication interpersonal skills along with a positive work demeanor and strong self-motivation to work independently and as well as in a team.
