Job summary:
As a Platform Sales Manager in the Securities Services team you will lead strategic dialogues with key clients and prospects driving business development and expanding our presence in Switzerland. You will be embedded within a collaborative team working closely with colleagues across the region to deliver value and innovative solutions. Your role empowers you to build trusted relationships act as a commercial and strategic advisor and contribute to the growth of one of J.P. Morgans priority markets. You will operate from our Zurich office reporting to the Head of Securities Services Sales for DACH region.
Job responsibilities
- Build and sustain strategic relationships with clients and prospects.
- Drive client and prospect engagement based on J.P. Morgans value proposition.
- Manage prospecting activities and ensure inclusion in new business opportunities.
- Create and execute strategic sales plans to attract new clients.
- Develop deep understanding of client needs decision makers and investment strategies.
- Act as commercial and strategic lead for existing clients growing wallet share.
- Execute long-term client plans to drive business growth and profitability.
- Collaborate with internal partners to deliver tailored product solutions.
- Manage prospect and client tenders coordinating internal stakeholders.
- Represent J.P. Morgan at industry events conferences and as a thought leader.
- Ensure compliance with risk management KYC/AML and legal requirements.
Required qualifications capabilities and skills
- Proven track record in business development and sales roles in the Swiss financial industry.
- Experience managing institutional client relationships and profitability.
- Strong relationship building and business development skills.
- Working knowledge of Securities Services products (e.g. Global Custody fund accounting securities lending FX cash management).
- High proficiency in German and English (spoken and written).
- Excellent communication influencing negotiation and presentation skills.
- Project management skills and attention to detail.
- University degree in Business Administration Economics Social Studies Political Studies Law or Engineering.
Preferred qualifications capabilities and skills
- Trusted network among decision makers in the Swiss financial sector.
- Experience with asset servicing asset management or capital markets focused on institutional clients.
- Knowledge of investment law or specific asset servicing areas (Accounting Custody Performance).
- Completion of professional exams such as CFA or CIIA.
- Energetic entrepreneurial mindset with strong commercial perspective.
- International mindset with a high sense of diversity and inclusion.
- Experience collaborating across teams and jurisdictions.
