The consultant will become a member of the Enterprise Data & AI team which is tasked with overseeing and sustaining an extensive data ecosystem across both cloud and on-premises platforms including AWS Databricks and Snowflake. The team supports multiple project groups delivering data solutions across the organization.Daytoday responsibilities

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Position details
- Job title: System Administrator Databricks
- Duration: 6month contract potentially extendable
- Hours per week: 35 hours
- Work location: Toronto or Montreal
- Onsite requirement: 2 days per week (pending client confirmation)
The consultant will become a member of the Enterprise Data & AI team which is tasked with overseeing and sustaining an extensive data ecosystem across both cloud and on-premises platforms including AWS Databricks and Snowflake. The team supports multiple project groups delivering data solutions across the organization.Daytoday responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the Enterprise Data and AI Platform across AWS and onprem environments.
- Administer and support Snowflake and Databricks across multiple tenant workspaces.
- Work with AWS services such as S3 Lambda CloudWatch VPC AWS Backup and (as an asset) SageMaker.
- Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
- Build and support CI/CD pipelines using GitLab GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to design and deliver secure and scalable platform solutions.
Musthaves
- 58 years of total experience including DevOps experience in AWS cloud environments.
- Minimum 3 years of Databricks platform administration experience.
- 5 years of AWS experience with strong knowledge of S3 Lambda CloudWatch VPC AWS Backup; SageMaker is an asset.
- Handson experience with Terraform GitHub GitLab GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
- Proficiency in Python.
- Strong networking knowledge (VPCs load balancers firewalls).
- Experience with Kubernetes OpenShift or Docker is an asset.
- Demonstrated curiosity and interest in continuous learning.
