Custodial Assistant

• Assist department staff with deep cleaning to prepare units for move-in and summer conference programs.
• Deep clean kitchen and appliances.
• Vacuum dust clean surfaces and other general housekeeping.
• Clean and maintain windows screens and doorways.
• Assist with carpet and upholstery cleaning and stripping and waxing vinyl flooring.
• Assist department staff with routine grounds maintenance and landscaping such as sweeping blowing and pressure washing walkways.
• Perform routine cleaning and sanitation of common areas in the community such as laundry rooms bathrooms hubs conference rooms game room and tv lounge.
• Collect trash and recyclables on a routine basis.
• Organize supply closets.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Must be available to work Monday-Sunday between the hours of 6:00a.m.-2:30p.m.
• Undergraduate students must be registered/enrolled in a minimum of six (6) Fall/Spring units.
• Post-baccalaureate students in a graduate program must be registered in a minimum of four (4) Fall/Spring units.
