A Day in the Life

Sales Representative for CRM in the Chattanooga Metro area. This Sales Representative will lead a team of Clinical Specialists expertly advise customers and grow market Medtronics CRM market share.
We are seeking a committed professional to join our team. While this is a remote position not located at a physical Medtronic site the candidate hired will be required to reside within the territory and drive to multiple accounts throughout the region. A valid drivers license is essential for this role.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

To gain market share in the Cardiac RhythmManagement(CRM) business by promoting selling and servicing Medtronics Pacing products within assigned territory.

CRM seeks collaborative candidates who are patient-centric passionate and whorepresentthe same wide variety of life experiences as our patients. CRM Sales representatives are regularly on call.Must haveabilityto work and/or travel outside of normal business hours.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct sales calls to promote sell and service Medtronics CRMproducts and services to existing and competitive customers

  • Implement quarterly salesplanand achieve sales goals and objectives.Maintain knowledge of diverse Medtronic products and support sales efforts.

  • Coordinate customer activities at all meetings as assigned.Complete administrative reporting as assigned (for example: expense reports account profiles and analysis daily planners competitive updates and inventory log)

  • Provide ongoing field intelligence reports on competitive activity changes in markets distribution and pricing as well as input on customer preferences and product features.Cost-effectively manage time and assets

  • Maintain adequate inventory (trunk stock) andassistin the reallocation and delivery of product

  • Effectivelyutilizesales collateral to support promotional and territorial needs

Technical/Educational

  • Train and educate both existing and competitive customersto gain incremental business

  • Maintain proficient level of product knowledgein all assigned product lines

  • Advise customers on a continuing basisregardingperformance of assigned products

  • Provide 24-hour territory coverage (including holidays weekends evenings)

MUST HAVE:BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION THE FOLLOWING BASIC QUALIFICATIONS MUST BE EVIDENT ON YOUR RESUME

High School Diploma (or equivalent) AND 6years experience*

ORAssociates DegreeAND 4years experience*

ORBachelors DegreeAND 2years experience*

* Relevant sales clinical or related experience in medical devicesmedtech healthcare or life sciences

NICE TO HAVE:DESIRED/PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Preference will be given to local qualified candidates and candidates with Medtronic experience

  • 2years Experiencein B2B or Medical Device Sales

  • Demonstrable success inpreviousemploymentindicatinghigh levelof sales performance

  • 5 years medical sales experience in hospital environment selling to interventional cardiologists or electrophysiologists or cardiothoracic surgeons

Work and Travel Requirements

  • Available/willing to work/travel weekends and evenings

  • Thisposition requires on-call time

  • Continuous verbal and written communication

  • Ability to transport product/equipment from car to hospital

  • Sittingstandingand/or walking for up to eight plus hours per day

  • Environmental exposures include eye protection infectiousdiseaseand radiation

  • Ability to travel extensively with ease (approx. 10% of time)

  • Must be able to drive approximately 80% of thetime within assigned territory

  • Must have a valid drivers license and active vehicleinsurance policy.In additionyour driving record will be reviewed and will be consideredas part of your application

For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$35000- $35000

In addition to Base Salary this position is eligible for a Sales Incentive Plan (SIP) which provides the opportunity to earn significant incentive compensation for achieving or exceeding your goals.
