Job Description
As a Security Officer - Highrise Patrol in Los Angeles CA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas complete routine rounds and maintain a visible presence that may help to deter security-related incidents. You will respond to alarms and/or access control needs as assigned document activity and communicate clearly with tenants visitors and staff. You will thrive in a caring agile team that acts with integrity and delivers through teamwork.

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to tenants visitors and employees by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities within a commercial property setting.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout interior common areas exterior grounds and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance or access concerns.
- Monitor access points and public areas assist with visitor check-in and/or badging as directed by post orders and communicate observed issues to property management and/or Allied Universal supervision.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including disturbances medical calls fire or alarm activations and service requests and coordinate with emergency services as needed.
- Complete detailed incident reports daily activity logs and other documentation and use site systems such as radios phones and/or CCTV to support security-related operations.
Minimum Requirements:
- Customer Service Experience is preferred.
- Alarm Panel Experience is preferred.
- Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
