DescriptionAs an Advanced Mechanical Design Engineer here at Honeywell you will be a key contributor to the design and development of innovative mechanical solutions for our VECE (Value Engineeringand Component Engineering) business.
You will report directly to our Engineering Manager and youll work out of our Mexico City location on a Hybrid work schedule.
In this role you will impact on the mechanical design process by leading and driving the development of innovative repair solutions. Your insights and recommendations will help drive the companys direction in mechanical repair strategy.
Responsibilities- Develop robust solutions architect and strengthen technical leadership
- Lead and drive complex CTR to develop & implement robust innovation projects from concept by designing mechanical systems components and assemblies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define mechanical requirements and specifications for products to optimize & improve value for our customers.
QualificationsMUST HAVE:
- Bachelors degree from an accredited institution in technical disciplines such as the sciences technology engineering or mathematics.
- Advanced English
- 10 years of experience in manufacturing or mechanical design and development.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles and methodologies.
- Experience with Verification & Validation.
- Experience working in a production environment.
WE VALUE:
- Masters Degree in technical disciplines such as the sciences technology engineering or mathematics is highly preferred
- Strong understanding and proven experience on SAP
- Strong understanding and proven experience on Part Life Cycle Management
- Strong understanding and proven experience on Stackups
- Strong understanding and proven experience on Critical To Quality Key Product Index
- Strong understanding and proven experience on green belt.
