Head of Quality
Manufacturing Sector
Based in Reading (Hybrid Working)

The Opportunity
As Head of Quality you will lead the quality function across the site ensuring robust quality systems regulatory compliance and a culture of continuous improvement. Reporting into senior leadership you will play a key role in driving operational performance and customer satisfaction.
This is a hybrid role offering flexibility between site presence and remote working.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the overall quality strategy aligned with business objectives
- Lead and develop the Quality team fostering a high-performance culture
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations
- Oversee audits (internal and external) supplier quality and customer quality performance
- Analyse KPIs and provide clear reporting to senior stakeholders
- Champion root cause analysis and corrective/preventative actions
About You
- Proven senior quality leadership experience within a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of QMS frameworks (e.g. ISO standards)
- Demonstrable experience leading audits and regulatory compliance
- Strategic thinker with hands-on problem-solving capability
- Confident stakeholder manager with excellent communication skills
- Degree-qualified (or equivalent experience) in Engineering Quality or a related discipline
