As our Consultant Environmental Equipment Coordinator on-site in our Vancouver office youre the person who makes that happen. Youll ensure the right tools get to the right people exactly when they need them keeping multimilliondollar projects on schedule and enabling highquality impactful environmental work from coast to coast across Canada.

What Your Impact Is

In this role youll serve as the central hub for all things related to field equipment. From procurement and planning to maintenance scheduling logistics and reporting youll oversee the full lifecycle of our equipment. Your work will directly support environmental assessments permitting EHS compliance remediation and major energy and mining projects. Youll help field teams operate efficiently and deliver outstanding results to our clients every time.

What Youll Bring

Required

  • 2 years of experience in equipment coordination or logistics - ideally supporting environmental fieldwork or field-based technical teams.

  • Hands-on knowledge of environmental survey and sampling equipment (e.g. water quality meters electrofishers hydrometric tools GPS units communication devices).

  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

  • Strong multitasking and problemsolving abilities in a fastpaced environment.

  • Excellent communication skills verbal written and interpersonal.

  • Proficiency with MS Office including Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook.

  • Quick learner who can adapt to new software systems with ease.

  • Drivers License Required: This position requires a valid drivers license and/or the ability to operate a company vehicle due to the nature of job duties which include frequent travel to various client locations across a large geographical area.

  • Ability to travel frequently for equipment pick-up delivery and support.

  • This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.

Preferred

  • Technical diploma or certificate in environmental sciences or a related field.

  • Familiarity with transport regulations.

  • TDG (Ground/Air) certifications are an asset.

  • First Aid and WHMIS training.

  • Experience being a part of health and safety committees.

Key Responsibilities

  • Liaise with project managers and technical teams to understand equipment needs and proactively plan deployments.

  • Coordinate purchasing shipping/receiving and costeffective movement of environmental field equipment across Canada.

  • Ensure equipment reliability by maintaining repairing calibrating and tracking usage including loss/damage.

  • Monitor utilization and manage cost recovery including timely invoice generation and identifying opportunities to suspend or sell underused items.

  • Lead equipment inventories in Vancouver and coordinate with other Canadian offices to maintain consistent inventories and tracking.

  • Optimize equipment processes identifying gaps and developing improved systems formanagement tracking and reporting.

  • Provide equipment revenue data and forecasting insights to support operational planning and decision-making.

  • Manage insurance coverage for equipment and support project teams with obtaining insurance certificates.

  • Safely store and ship hazardous materials (e.g. preservatives batteries).

  • Coordinate with ERMs offices to oversee fleet compliance safety and standards; confirming vehicles have proper insurance and required inspections.

  • Support company health and safety initiatives by:

    • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment in the Equipment Room

    • Actively participating on the Vancouver Joint Health & Safety Committee; and

    • Fulfilling the Vancouver H&S Coordinator role for the office.

  • Work collaboratively with and provide back-up support for the Environmental Field Coordinator position contributing to optimization of field schedules.

  • Provide ad hoc administrative support as required including reception coverage financial document filing cheque deposits and IT related tasks.

For the Consultant Environmental Equipment Coordinatorposition the anticipated annual base pay is $73161$94217 (CAD). Actual pay will depend on factors such as education experience skills location performance and business some cases pay may fall outside this range. This role may be eligible for bonus pay (casual and fixed term/flex force employees are not bonus eligible).
