Job Summary
Position Overview:
The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for designing implementing and optimizing manufacturing processes to ensure efficient production and high-quality products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and improve manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency and quality.
- Design and implement new manufacturing systems and processes.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and maintain documentation for manufacturing processes. (work instructions)
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Assists in the training of less-experienced personnel by leading and training teams in lean manufacturing.
- Design assembly processes (time studies line balancing material handling devices material delivery systems).
- Coordinates maintenance personnel in support of equipment and facility requirements.
- Maintain constant communication with product engineering and timely implement any processes changes
- Submit product process deviations as required
- Other duties as required.

- Ability to learn the fundamentals of motor assembly and testing per Regal standards.
- Able to read and interpret blueprints.
- Ability to perform necessary processes changes as needed/requested
- Willingness to learn about all product groups.
- Ability to train others.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively both written and verbally to personnel at all levels of an organization.
- Operate a PC Microsoft Office Solidworks Draftsite Oracle
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related field
- Experience as a Manufacturing Engineer or similar experience.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes.
- Proficiency in CAD software and other relevant tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and project management skills.
