JOB TITLE: Licensed Practical Nurse Bus Aide
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Current Alabama License as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
- Clinical nursing experience with school age children in the hospital community health or a pediatric clinic is desired.
- Clinical nursing skills necessary to provide safe care to students with special health care needs.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Possess current CPR certification (this may be obtained after employment).
- Possess wheel chair certification (this may be obtained after employment).
- School nursing experience highly preferable.
REPORTS TO: Transportation Coordinator
Nurse Supervisor
JOB GOAL: To assist bus driver in safely transporting students with special needs while providing required health services
