Business Admin Level 3 Apprenticeship Our Lady of Walsingham Catholic Primary School
We are currently seeking to recruit a hardworking and enthusiastic individual to join our administration team. The Administrator Apprentice will be expected to give comprehensive administrative support to the admin team.
Key Details
Salary:8p/h increasing to National Minimum Wage after 12 months
Working hours:Monday - Friday (Shifts TBC) 36 hours
Location:Our Lady of Walsingham Catholic Primary School Stand Park Avenue Netherton Bootle Merseyside L30 3SA
Apprenticeship Details -16 months expected duration to complete working towards your Level 3 Business Administration Qualification. (All learning is delivered online/ remote).
Training Provider:LMP Education (rated 1st best UK training provider)
The Business Operations Administrator Apprentice will provide effective administrative and operational support to the team and will contribute to the smooth running of day-to-day business operations.
- Provide administrative support e.g. photocopying filing faxing emailing completion of routine forms school meals
- Update manual and computerised records/management information systems
- Undertake reception duties act as first point of contact in response to telephone and face-to-face enquiries sign in visitors
- Open sort and distribute incoming mail and post outgoing mail
- First point of contact for sick pupils liaise with parents / carers / staff
- Assist with arrangements for visits for example by school nurse photographer
- Ensure collection of attendance registers
- Arrange orderly and secure storage of supplies
- Occasionally handle cash e.g. for school visits dinner money

- Professional attitude and sensitivity towards confidentiality.
- Commitment to completing the full apprenticeship programme.
- At least 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) grades 9-4.
