Job Title: Human Resources Business Partner (Contract)
Location: Remote (Canada)
Type: Full-Time Contract
Overview
Our client a fast-growing and innovative technology organization is seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to join their team on a full-time contract basis. This role will support business leaders and employees across a dynamic fast-paced tech environment and will play a key role in aligning HR strategies with business objectives.
The ideal candidate brings strong experience working within technology or high-growth companies thrives in a collaborative remote environment and is comfortable managing a wide range of HRBP responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with senior leaders and managers to provide strategic HR guidance and support
- Advise on employee relations matters including performance management conflict resolution and workplace concerns
- Support organizational effectiveness team structure and workforce planning initiatives
- Provide coaching to managers on leadership employee development and performance management
- Lead or support HR initiatives such as engagement change management and talent development
- Collaborate with cross-functional HR teams (Talent Acquisition People Operations Total Rewards etc.)
- Support implementation and communication of HR policies programs and best practices
- Analyze people data and trends to provide insights and recommendations to business leaders
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation and internal policies
- Contribute to a positive inclusive and high-performing workplace culture
Qualifications
- 5 years of progressive HR experience including HR Business Partner or strategic HR advisory roles
- Experience working within technology SaaS or high-growth environments
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices across employee relations performance management and organizational development
- Demonstrated ability to partner with senior leaders and influence decision-making
- Experience supporting remote and distributed teams
- Strong interpersonal communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- High level of professionalism and discretion when handling sensitive information
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- HR designation (CHRP/CPHR) considered an asset
