Accreditation Compliance Specialist

Purpose of the role:

  • The Accreditation Specialist is responsible for the effective daytoday management and oversight of BSIs global accreditation and specialist scheme programmes. The role plays a critical part in protecting BSIs accreditation status impartiality and reputation by maintaining robust relationships with global accreditation bodies and scheme owners and by ensuring ongoing compliance with accreditation and oversight requirements.

  • The role involves operational oversight of key global accreditation programmes including:
    • System certification - ANAB; UKAS
    • Food scheme ISO 17065
    • Automotive IATF 16949 oversight programme

  • The role also ensures the integrity accuracy and availability of accreditation coverage certificates and compliance agreements across the Global Quality & Compliance SharePoint site and associated document repositories.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

  • Provide daytoday management and oversight of global accreditation body programmes including ANAB and UKAS.
  • Manage the ISO 17065 food scheme accreditation programme and the IATF 16949 automotive oversight programme.
  • Plan and coordinate annual assessment programmes with accreditation and oversight bodies including attendance at and participation in regular liaison meetings.
  • Liaise with Regional Quality & Compliance Directors and Country Operations teams to organise office and assessment visits conducted either onsite or remotely.
  • Ensure assessment reports are distributed appropriately with findings clearly communicated responsibilities assigned and records accurately maintained within Entropy.
  • Monitor and manage all timebound accreditation requirements including preassessment documentation and corrective action plan (CAP) responses.
  • Identify and escalate any actual or potential risks to BSIs accreditation status impartiality or reputation to senior management in a timely manner.
  • Provide nonconformity and assessment data to support analysis reporting and management review.
  • Track accreditationrelated invoices verify accuracy and manage processing through Basware.
  • Maintain accurate and uptodate accreditation coverage documentation certificates and compliance agreements within Global Q&C systems and shared drives.

Skills:

  • Experience of how external accreditation and oversight operates within a certification body
  • Experience of working with BSI systems and tools including PG Basware and SharePoint
  • Experience of using accreditation/oversight systems and portals such as IATF AMP UKAS portal and ANAB ANSICA and EQM portals
  • Knowledge and understanding of invoicing and purchase-to-pay (P2P) systems to track and approve AB/OB invoices against purchase orders
  • Able to maintain work deadlines and manage conflicting priorities
  • Good communicator able to work proactively with people at all levels in business internally and externally.
