LMS Course Specialist
Location: Fort Sill OK
Role Summary: Subject Matter Expert for the Army Training Information System (ATIS) and Blackboard LMS. Facilitates online distributed learning and course framework customization.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage course lifecycles using approved Blackboard Naming Conventions.
Train instructors and course managers on LMS functions (test design gradebooks).
Act as primary POC for user enrollment and access authorization.
Monitor system performance and collaborate with ATSC for software upgrades.
Mandatory Qualifications:
Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship is required.
Security: Active SECRET clearance is mandatory.
Education: Bachelors Degree.
Experience: 2 years of experience administering courses in an Army LMS (Blackboard).
Certification: Must complete mandatory Army Blackboard modules (101-301) within 30 days of award.
Compliance: IAT Level II Certification (Security CE).
