SUMMARY OF POSITION
The IT Administrator is responsible for the administration maintenance and support of Hales IT infrastructure systems and enduser technologies. This role combines help desk operations systems administration networking cybersecurity compliance and project management. The ideal candidate is customerfocused proactive and experienced in both handson technical support and enterprise system administration within a manufacturing environment. This position is a full-time on-site position located in Ocala FL.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage all help desk activities and ticketing using ServiceNow.
- PC acquisition configuration installation and ongoing desktop/peripheral support.
- Train and mentor new employees in IT systems and solutions.
- Manage and maintain servers storage virtualization environments and disk arrays.
- Administer Microsoft Active Directory including user provisioning group policies and patching.
- Administer Veeam backup systems.
- Support SQL Server engineering applications DNC systems and FTP/Web clients.
- Plan and execute system upgrades migrations and documentation.
- Provide LAN/WAN support including switches cabling and wired/wireless networks.
- Support Cisco UCaaS PBX systems and company cell phones.
- Troubleshoot and monitor network performance.
- Ensure cybersecurity policies and standards are implemented and followed.
- Support and enforce compliance initiatives related to IT and data security.
- Manage ITrelated projects and task delegation.
- Manage vendors procurement asset research tracking and secure equipment disposals.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional departments to support their IT needs.
- All other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND REQUIRED ABILITIES
- Excellent analytical communication interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask work under deadlines and drive continuous improvement.
- Strong knowledge of Windows networking protocols and virtualization.
- Experience with manufacturing environments automation systems and business applications.
- Understanding of security principles and methodologies.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Experience with telephone system support and enterprise LAN equipment.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Degree studies in Information Technology Computer Science Information Systems Business or equivalent experience.
- 5 years of IT technical support or systems administration experience in a Microsoft ADS environment.
- A combination of education training and applicable systems experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong technical communication and interpersonal abilities.
