Three Summer Internship Opportunities for Mechanical Engineering. Manufacturing Engineering or Marketing Students!

Position Overview:
Riverhawk Company is excited to offer three Internship Opportunities for Mechanical Engineering Manufacturing Engineering and Marketing students. these hands-on internships will provide valuable real-world experience for students entering their junior or senior year of college. You will work alongside our experienced team on a variety of critical projects gaining exposure to industry-leading practices and technologies.

Mechanical Engineering Internship:

Internship for designing and building a heat exchanger prototype

This project involves transferring heat from a hot air source to a cool air source. The two are kept sealed from each other. We are targeting heat pipe technology. The objective will be to design a prototype system and test it. If the prototype can be built fast enough then they can run testing.

A student with an understanding about heat transfer and interest in the subject could be a good fit. Heat Transfer course is preferred. Preferably a student going into their senior year.

Marketing Internship:

This intern will be responsible for recording/editing product videos testing videos and product application/demonstrations. They will set up detailed schedules for running social media/updating and adding content to the website. They will be responsible for conducting customer outreach through targeted email follow ups or campaigns setting up some infrastructure for better tracking customer interaction and customer discovery.

A marketing student who is interested in technical products would be a good fit. Must have a strong understanding of digital marketing and SEO. Preferably a student going into their senior year.

Quality Internship

This intern will be responsible for assisting the Quality team with tasks such as basic inspections of machined components documenting and organizing quality records supporting continuous improvement initiatives and helping investigate nonconformances. This role provides exposure to precision manufacturing quality control processes and collaboration with machinists engineers and production staff.

A mechanical or manufacturing engineering student that has completed one or two years of studies and is interested in gaining experience in a manufacturing environment would be a good fit for this. Its a great opportunity to learn how quality systems support real-world manufacturing operations.

CRITICAL QUALIFICATION FOR ALL APPLICANTS:
We proudly partner with the Oneida County College Corp program for our summer order to qualify applicants must reside in Oneida County.

Applicants who we wish to join our team will receive a conditional offer pending the successful completion of a four panel drug test and a background screen.
