Salary: $8.25 per hour (Max 26 hours per week) |
Position Summary: The Network Architecture and Infrastructure Support Department is responsible for the design installation and maintenance of the university data network. The University Student Assistant provides an essential service to the University community and its various constituencies by operating the Universitys switchboard consoles by answering transferring and directing incoming local and long-distance calls and referring questions to the proper office or person in a courteous and professional manner. Additional duties include assisting Faculty Staff Students and the General Public with requests for call transfers directions to locations on or off campus and other such tasks. Customer service verbal writing and interacting with people skills are a must. Positions may be filled based on individual applicants skills qualifications and departmental needs. Adheres to all department and University policies and procedures. |
