Job Summary

We are currently hiring a Credit Assistant to support a fast-paced credit and customer service team. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented organized and comfortable handling a high volume of calls and account activity.

  • Answer and manage a high volume of incoming calls professionally
  • Assist customers with account questions payments billing and order status
  • Process and manage Cash Before Delivery (CBD) orders and accounts
  • Enter and maintain accurate customer account information
  • Support credit team with documentation references and reporting
  • Assist with collections on past-due accounts (phone and email)
  • Process payments including credit card transactions
  • Research and resolve account discrepancies and order issues
  • Prepare correspondence documents and general administrative support

    Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Typing speed of 40 WPM
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word Excel Outlook internet navigation)
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to remain professional when handling difficult conversations
  • Effective memo and letter writing
  • Mathematical spelling and accuracy aptitude
