As a Site Procurement Manager you will serve as the bridge between Global Procurement and the local sites. You will own the procurement operation responsibilities including vendor management of service and goods mainly packaging material.
Key job responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Operations
- Serve as procurement subject matter expert on the site delivering strategic guidance and operational excellence
- Lead network-wide vendor negotiations and relationship management
- Drive cost optimization and innovative procurement solutions
- Oversee end-to-end procurement operations including: Purchase order management and Supplier payment processes
- Control inventory and Packaging materials forecasting
- Ensure vendor SLA compliance through KPI monitoring
- Champion safety and procurement best practices
Financial & Stakeholder Partnership
- Partner with Finance on budgets and performance metrics
- Build relationships with internal/external stakeholders
- Collaborate with global procurement organization
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives
Compliance & Risk Management
- Maintain procurement policy compliance
- Implement risk management strategies
- Ensure corporate governance adherence
- Foster cross-functional partnerships
A day in the life
Due to the interaction with Global Teams English is a mandatory Basic Qualification.
- Bachelors degree in business administration finance economics computer science data science engineering or other related field
- Knowledge of Excel at an advanced level
- Experience managing and negotiating contracts and vendor relationships
- Experience in oral and written communication in English
- Procurement purchasing supply chain related work in a procurement organization experience
- Experience in Coupa or other financial management/procurement software
- Experience managing technical/engineering teams in an operations environment
