Job Summary

Lets start with the role

We are seeking an experienced in-house Legal Counsel to draft review and negotiate various agreements while supporting cross-functional teams. The Legal Counsel will be responsible for providing comprehensive legal support across the companys operations leading complex transactions and assisting with international expansion projects. You will work closely with multiple departments and external partners to ensure compliance protect the companys interests and enable strategic growth all while maintaining a practical and business-oriented approach to legal issues. Additionally you will enhance legal templates and policies to streamline processes and ensure compliance.

As a Legal Counsel you will:
  • Draft review and negotiate various agreements including cross-border technology agreements with international parties (e.g. Software License Agreements SaaS B2B NDAs partnership contracts and technology vendor contracts etc.);
  • Provide day-to-day legal support to the company and collaborate closely with internal teams with main focus on Product teams;
  • Lead and manage complex commercial transactions by providing actionable legal advice aligned with the business goals;
  • Participate in international expansion plans;
  • Manage corporate documentation (charter articles of association bylaws etc.);
  • Support the establishment of entities globally;
  • Enhance legal templates playbooks forms and policies to streamline deal processes and standardize terms.

What youll bring

  • At least 5 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) gained at a leading law firm and/or in-house legal department or in the technology sector;
  • A law degree formally recognized in Greece;
  • A Masters degree in Law with a specialization in commercial law corporate law technology law international trade/transactions law or contract law;
  • An active license to practice law in Greece and active membership in the Athens Bar Association or another recognized Bar Association in Greece;
  • Proven experience in corporate law commercial contracts technology contracts (including software licensing and SaaS agreements);
  • Strong negotiation drafting and analytical skills;
  • Familiarity with regulations on new technologies intellectual property law;
  • Comfort with using technology including AI applications;
  • Proven organization and prioritization skills with the ability to manage simultaneous high demanding projects to meet business objectives;
  • Ability to work both collaboratively as a team member and independently taking full ownership of workload to manage deadlines;
  • Full professional proficiency in English both written and spoken.
