We are looking for a Senior Legal Associate (with a focus on Labour Law) to join PwC OGC (Office of General Counsel) internal legal team in Athens Greece.

Make a real impact

• Work closely with the Human Capital Department on matters related to labour law issues such as contracts leave working hours overtime compensation
• Draft legal opinions on labour law issues/matters
• Monitor legislation and case law and update relevant PwC stakeholders
• Provide legal support regarding the member firms representation before the competent administrative authorities (e.g. Labour Inspectorate) and the competent courts for the resolution of labour disputes.
• Engage with external counsel on labour law issues of heightened complexity
• Be actively involved in OGC day-to-day operations (Draft & review commercial contracts; Draft Corporate Resolutions; Review public procurement contracts assist tender processes and handle related claims; Manage OGC records and archives; Prepare Legal memos and reports)

What you bring matters

• Bachelors degree in law from a Greek or a foreign university
• Active license to practice law in Greece
• Five (5) years of legal experience as a qualified lawyer at a medium-to-large law firm consulting firm in a large in-house law department (preferably in a regulated industry) with focus on labour law matters
• Excellent command of the Greek and English language with strong written and verbal skills
• Computer literacy
• The ability to work well both independently and in a team environment including with senior management
• The ability to work comfortably in an intense fast-paced environment and successfully manage and meet deadlines
