About the Role

We are growing our Legal team and are looking for a motivated Junior Lawyer to support our day-to-day legal operations. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior legal professional to gain hands-on experience in the fintech and payments sector working closely with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Legal team in providing advice on financial services regulation
• Assist in drafting reviewing and negotiating commercial agreements
• Contribute to data protection and GDPR compliance processes
• Advise on technology-related legal issues (e.g. IP cybersecurity)
• Conduct legal research on regulatory developments in Greece and the EU
• Support internal stakeholders by identifying legal risks and proposing practical solutions
• Assist in maintaining internal policies and procedures (compliance AML/KYC data protection)

What Youll Need to Succeed

• Law degree (LL.B. or equivalent)
• Admission to a Bar Association
• LL.M. is a plus
• 13 year(s) of relevant legal experience (law firm or in-house)
• Basic understanding of EU regulatory frameworks (e.g. PSD2 GDPR)
• Strong legal research drafting and analytical skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Greek and English
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment
• Team-oriented mindset with a proactive and hands-on attitude

Nice to Have

• Exposure to fintech payments or financial services law
• Familiarity with AML/KYC requirements
• Interest in technology digital payments and e-commerce
• Strong stakeholder management skills
