Welcome to the Digital Retail Operations team an exciting team who help to ensure all things Digital land right first time in stores. The landscape of Digital Retail Operations is fast-paced with multiple workstreams being supported at any one time. Our role is to ensure these workstreams deliver their intended purpose and continually improve the experience in store for our customers and team members.
What youll be doingThe Digital Retail Operations team sits within the Central Operations function. Our role is to support & develop store operational processes covering Click and Collect Hybrid In Store Pick and Instant addition to representing Central Operations in cross-functional meetings and projects relating to all Digital processes in stores. The specialist role reports into Digital Retail Operations Manager.
Key responsibilities- Voice of store and Central Operations always doing what is right for our stores ensuring processes are achievable realistic and manageable for store team members
- Produce communications for stores area managers and field team members on all key workstreams and changes to process
- Analyse store performance on key metrics and identify opportunities for development working collaboratively across multiple functions to deliver efficiencies
- Provide tools and insights to stores and field teams (including Store Operations Support team) so they can drive digital performance
- Work with the relevant teams (Supply Chain Operations Central Ops Digital Development) to identify opportunities to improve all store omnichannel systems. Engage key stakeholders to implement and support any changes
- Define develop and support the operational processes to support new customer propositions
- Represent Central Ops on any cross-functional projects and coordinate any omnichannel activity across the Central Operations teams
What youll need to have (our must-haves) A strong understanding of in store processes and operational activity
Able to engage & influence stakeholders at all levels across different functions
Ability to explain simplify and communicate complex information concisely
Ability to work collaboratively across all functions within the business
It would be great if you also have Experience of implementation planning and an understanding of project methodologies this is not essential as training will be provided where appropriate
Experience working with Excel and Power BI to develop insights and dashboards this is not essential as training will be provided where appropriate
