S&P Global has recently announced the intent to separate our Mobility Segment into a standalone public company.

S&P Global Mobility is seeking a skilled Database Developer to join our EMEA Operations team. You will be instrumental in developing business requirements in SQL Server logic for customer deliveries. You will support monitoring the existing ETL data flow for our daily Data Updates. You will help to configure Client Segmentation- and Customization steps.


Responsibilities and Impact:

  • Develop and enhance business logic in MS SQL Server Scripts/Stored Procedures on standardized automotive data including vehicle new registrations used registrations vehicle-in-operation (VIO) pricing and more.

  • Combine and process data from various sources to enrich datasets for customer delivery.

  • Support and maintain existing processes in MS SQL Server and SSIS Packages.

  • Configurate our Segmentation/Customization Tool for Client requirements

  • Collaborate closely with data analysts business stakeholders and technical teams across multiple locations to gather requirements validate logic and deliver solutions.

  • Communicate effectively with global stakeholders to understand requirements provide updates and resolve issues.

  • Demonstrate strong technical expertise in MS SQL Server Tools Visual Studio for SSIS package development SSMS Stored Procedures SQL Scripts

  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve data quality process efficiency and system reliability.

  • Manage time effectively to meet project deadlines and deliverables.

  • Show adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies and processes as migration progresses.

What Were Looking For:

Basic Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent in a related field.

  • 35 years of relevant experience in SQL development.

  • Hands-on experience with MS SQL Server Tools: SSIS SSMS Visual Studio

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a global cross-functional environment.

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to proactively resolve data research issues.

  • Excellent communication skills especially in a multi-location stakeholder environment.
