Role Summary: We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow LRMC (Legal and Risk Management) Developer to design implement and support Legal Risk and Compliance solutions on the ServiceNow platform. The role involves configuring and customizing ServiceNow modules to support enterprise legal operations enterprise risk management policy and compliance workflows and regulatory reporting while ensuring data integrity automation and alignment with governance standards.
Core Responsibilities: Application Design & Development Design configure and customize ServiceNow GRC / IRM (Integrated Risk Management) and Legal workflows including: o Legal Intake & Case Management o Risk Registers and Assessments o Policy & Compliance Management o Issues Controls and Audit workflows Develop business logic using Business Rules Client Scripts Script Includes UI Policies UI Actions and Flow Designer. Configure forms tables fields workflows and automation to meet legal and risk management needs. Legal & Risk Process Enablement Enable legal request intake case lifecycle management approvals SLAs and escalations. Support enterprise risk assessments risk scoring mitigation plans and control testing. Configure policy attestations compliance tracking and audit evidence management. Requirements Gathering & Stakeholder Collaboration
Work closely with Legal Compliance Risk Audit and Business stakeholders to gather functional requirements. Translate legal and risk requirements into scalable ServiceNow technical solutions. Support workshops design reviews and solution walkthroughs. System Integration Integrate ServiceNow with external systems such as: o Document Management Systems (DMS) o Financial / ERP systems o Identity and authentication systems Use REST/SOAP APIs IntegrationHub and data sources for seamless data exchange. Data Integrity Reporting & Dashboards Ensure accuracy and integrity of risk legal and compliance data. Build and maintain reports and dashboards for executives and compliance teams. Support regulatory and audit reporting requirements. Testing QA & Support Perform unit testing UAT support defect fixing and regression testing. Provide production support troubleshooting and root-cause analysis. Maintain platform health and performance. Maintenance & Upgrades Manage update sets deployments and instance synchronization. Support ServiceNow upgrades and patching activities. Ensure compatibility with new releases and evolving compliance needs. Documentation & Best Practices Maintain clear documentation for: o Configurations and customizations
o Process flows and solution designs o Operational runbooks Adhere to ServiceNow development best practices and governance standards.
Required Skills & Experience: Mandatory 3-7 years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer / Consultant. Strong experience with ServiceNow GRC / IRM modules (Risk Policy Compliance Audit Issues). Solid understanding of Legal Operations and Risk Management processes. Proficiency in JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting APIs. Experience with Flow Designer Service Catalog and ServiceNow administration. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Good to Have Experience with Legal Case Management (LCM) or legal intake workflows. Exposure to financial regulatory or enterprise risk frameworks. Knowledge of data privacy SOX GDPR ISO 27001 or similar standards. Experience with Performance Analytics. ServiceNow certifications: o CSA (Certified System Administrator) o CAD (Certified Application Developer) o CIS - Risk & Compliance / IRM
Soft Skills Ability to work independently with minimal oversight. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail and compliance-first mindset.
