Key Responsibilities:

Supporting Activities :

Lead Generation & Qualification

  • Research and identify potential leads through outbound prospecting (phone calls emails social media) and inbound lead follow-up.
  • Qualify leads based on specific criteria and set up meetings with the sales team and company conference representatives /attendees (when supporting lead generation for conferences).

Cold Outreach:

  • Effectively cold call and email leads nurturing relationships and converting prospects into sales opportunities.

CRM Management:

  • Accurately enter and maintain detailed records of customer interactions in the CRM system ensuring data is up to date and properly categorized.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with Account Executives and Product Marketing Managers to develop targeted outreach strategies and ensure smooth transitions for qualified leads.

Pipeline Development:

  • Generate and maintain a consistent pipeline of qualified leads and contribute to the achievement of sales targets.

Market Research:

  • Stay up to date with industry trends product knowledge and competitor activity to better engage with prospects and tailor outreach.

Reporting:

  • Track and report key performance metrics including calls made emails sent meetings booked and conversions to ensure continuous improvement and goal alignment.

Functional Competencies (Technical knowledge/Skills):

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport quickly.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple tasks.
  • Knowledge and experience with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce) is a plus but not required.

Experience Education and Certifications:

Bachelors Degree or current matriculation with intent to complete in a life sciences business or related field is ideal.
